Yes, please do something about those vocal pops. In addition to Tom's suggestions, a pop filter would probably do the trick. Maybe you can find one cheap on eBay or make one out of a wire hanger and pantyhose, in case you have that handy.

I'm enjoying the podcasts, including such non-In-the-Dark extras as the drunk guy and the Happy Feet viewers upset with the fact the movie has messages.

I suspect the latter are actually objecting to being subjected to messages that they don't agree with. Al Gore fans don't want to listen to Rush Limbaugh, and vice versa, and neither group wants to be take their kids to a "Happy" movie only to be blindsided by propaganda from the evil other side.

But Eric, you need to improve your microphone technique. Notice those loud "thumps" accompanying many of your p's and t's and d's, as in "Welcome to the PPoDDcasTT"?

I'd suggest using a windscreen on the microphone or moving it farther away from you. The best solution probably would be to relocate the mic off to one side so that you speak across it at an angle, rather than frontally blowing those explosive consonants directly into its defenseless diaphragm.

Loving the podcasts. Although it's interesting how in audio form, Eric has some very striking verbal similarities to Weird Al. Methinks he has watched his share of Al-TV episodes.
