Bad dialogue, bad acting, bad pacing, and - get this - not even all that faithful to the novel. Anyone who read the novel knows how the story is a beat-for-beat rip-off of Star Wars, but the reviewers point out how seeing it in movie format makes the plagarism even clearer. Oddly enough, the most positive thing about the movie cited by the reviewers is Jeremy Irons, who I guess did this movie trying to redeem himself for "Dungeons and Dragons."
