Also, you get fired if you go on non-work related sites and someone gets offended by anything on it--including something as innocuous as a bad movie review. It's quite foolish, really. There's no dirty language or pictures, so I can't imagine how somebody could be offended by the content. I guess it's not work-related, but reading a movie review or a snide remarks column only takes 10-15 minutes, and expecting your employees to work all day without small distractions is unrealistic. Fortunately, I work in the IT department, so I get to decide what sites are blocked and what sites aren't. I can’t imagine why a workplace would see fit to block this website.
