Is it just me, or is SXSW way-better than Sundance? Are they supposed to be comparable? It seems like, when you compare Eric's experiences at both, SXSW is light years better. Only day four and what, 5x as many celebrity sightings? And 5x as many movies that he seemed to actually like?

Wal-Mart doesn't stock more Full Screen discs than Widescreen. They stock the same amount of both. Widescreen just sells better, so there's always more Full Screen copies sitting around, hoping people will accidentally buy them. They should really quit bothering to make them.

Oh, and if that other comment is really from the Greg from the blog. I don't see what he's mad about; from the blog he sounds like a funny, cool guy.

A human's breadth of vision is about twice its height. So, yes, we see things closer to 2.35:1 than 1.33:1.

Isn't it odd that widescreens are BETTER somehow? The whole reason they were invented seems to be so movies could claim more screen than TVs, but why would that be true?

Is our viewing width greater than our viewing height, or something?
