EricDSnider.com stays on the air through the support of viewers like you!
Surely you lie awake some nights thinking, “I’ll bet EricDSnider.com requires time and money to operate, yet doesn’t bring in much time or money in return. Are there ways I can support the site and keep the ‘Snide Remarks,’ the movie reviews, and the entertaining blog alive and thriving?”
Rest your weary head, dear reader. There are many ways you can support the site!
- Buy stuff. We don’t have much of it left — the CDs are sold out, and so is the first “Snide Remarks” book — but there’s still some merchandise over at the merchandise page. It is reasonably priced and just as reasonably entertaining. Many other people have bought this merchandise and have gone on to lead healthy, productive lives.
- Support our advertisers. When you click on a link to Amazon and subsequently buy something, we get a tiny kickback — even if the thing you buy wasn’t the item you originally clicked on. As long as you got to the site from EricDSnider.com, it counts.
We’ve made this very easy for you. At the top of every page on this site is a “Buy Stuff” tab, and one of the items under that tab is “Shop on Amazon.com.” Next time you’re thinking of doing some Amazon shopping, simply come here first and access Amazon through that tab. We thank you for that in advance.
Also, if you haven’t already joined Netflix, may I suggest you do so? And may I also suggest that you click on the link I just gave you when you do?
- Be an advertiser. If you’ve got something to pimp, be it merchandise, a service, or a Web site of your own, you can do your pimping here. For $10 you get 5,000 impressions — 5,000 pairs of eyes seeing your ad, seeing that you’ve chosen to advertise on such a classy site, seeing that your product/service/Web site must surely be a thing of refinement. Text ads in “In the Dark” are available, too. In either case, you can e-mail me for details.
- Just give us money. You know how sometimes you just want to throw some money around without actually getting anything in return? We get that feeling all the time. If such a mood should strike you, feel free to donate a couple bucks here. (That link is also found under the “Buy Stuff” tab.)
- Keep visiting, and tell your friends. It may not produce revenue directly, but it’s always a good thing to have more readers. We hope you enjoy the things you read here, and that you’ll pass the word along to your friends and associates. We appreciate your support, financial and otherwise. Thanks for reading!
Yours truly,

I bought you lunch once, and snacks another time.
Does that count?

I would have bought you lunch if you’d come to Cinevegas…does that count?
Oh well, guess the amazon kickbacks from my purchases of Swedish goat cheese will have to do.

Why don’t you set up an online store and sell mp3 downloads of your cd’s that aren’t available anymore?

After seeing you act at BYU in some student directed scene (way back in ‘98 or ‘99), you owe me money Mr. Snider!

Hey! If it was “Venus Envy,” Eric was great in that part! He was supposed to have that effect! I think. Or, there was “Midsummer Night’s Dream” where the wonderfully talented Jenna Valentine Clark (I think?) played Titania, and Eric played a rather youthful-seeming older king who blinked a lot–if THAT’S what you’re referring to, I kind of see your point. Of course, those were the only things outside of Garrens I noticed, so maybe not. In which case, sorry in advance!

You know, those student directed scenes were free, so I have no idea what my problem was at that time. As I recall, Eric and his scene partner did fine; it was another actor’s performance that bothered me. Oh, and that production of Midsummer was a good one.

I second the idea to sell mp3s.

I still think it would be fun to have a list of recent purchases people have made on Amazon from your site.
