Five seconds of magic: Dramatic prairie dog
This is the funniest thing I’ve seen today.
(The source of the video is a Japanese kids’ show, a clip of which can be seen below. It’s fairly amusing in its own right, what with being Japanese and all.)

That sorta creeped me out. That poor thing either looked like it understood it was about to be neutered, or that it was about to go ballistic. I can’t decide which.

Dude, Eric - I had no idea how funny that would be. That’s quality 5-second prairie dog footage ya got there. I laughed out loud, gotta stop reading your site while I’m at work.

We had a prairie dog in my biology class when I was in high school, so I learned a bit about how they behave. The prairie dog in the second video looks like he’s pretty comfortable with people and just kinda wandering around and checking everybody out.
Cute videos. Thanks.

It’s every computer user’s worst enemy–the big blue Q with an embedded question mark. WHY was I never meant to see these two clips? WHY???

That girl at the end of the Japanese clip… wow. Disturbing. How did she learn to make that sound? Also: why?

BeeDub, I’m with you. Maybe it is some kind of bizarre life skill. After all, you never know when you will be required to round up prairie dogs.
