We also forgot, "She's the Man" with Amanda Bynes. I haven't seen it but I feel fairly confident in saying it belongs on the bad list.

It should be pointed out that when Edward Albee wrote the playwrite for "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?", he *actually* chose his title based on a message he saw scrawled on a bathroom mirror when he was at a Greenwich Village bar. It read, of course, "Who's afraid of Virginia Woolf?"

...Haha! Are you amazed by my vast knowledge of completely useless trivia yet?!

I think if Seinfeld has taught us anything, Eric, it is that a male bimbo should be referred to as a "mimbo".

Don't forget "Shanghai Knights" - a play, naturally, on "Shanghai Nights", itself a play on "Shanghai Noon" which is, as was pointed out, a play on "High Noon".

Writing that sentence made my brain uncomfortable.

I'd forgotten that Warner Bros. used pun in their titles. The Simpsons have the pun titles I think of such as "Stark Raving Dad," "Burns, Baby Burns" and my favorite, "The Last Temptation of Krust."

I didn't even know the porn industry did that. As a joke, my friends and I used to stick the word "porn" or things like that into titles of movies to refer to them ("The Porn Identity" was one of them!). I never knew that maybe, just maybe there were actual porn flicks with those titles.

Having been a pun lover (and inflicter, I admit) for more years than Eric has been alive, I was brought up short by the very last sentence: "The fact that the porn industry indulges in the practice of punning should probably be reason enough for everyone else to avoid it." However, I rallied my spirit by remembering that the porn industry makes big use of the internet, and I am certainly not going to stop using the net--I would have to give up Snide Remarks after all.
