IMDB says that it was filmed in the Mesa, Arizona area, Washinton D.C., and UAE. I’m guessing steelem is in Arizona.

Steelem: would you mind telling us (approximately) where your backyard is (like the name of the city or county)? I can’t seem to pinpoint the location from the decription of a Target, a field, and a freeway.

Well, The Kingdom was filmed practically in my backyard. It was very interesting to drive the Target and see a Middle Eastern city in the middle of a field. Plus they closed down our freeway and blew stuff up.
