Or, you could always do what we did - Coldstone, casual dress and a giant water balloon fight. THAT is a celebration indeed.

And no one has to wear a dress.

A buddy of mine (who's getting married next week) showed this to me. Turns out the couple was invited to do the same dance-routine on the Ellen show. And since "The Ellen Show" is probably synonymous with "unoriginal and pandering for more attention" (zing!), I'm forced to agree with mpb.

Also, a "rule" that couples need a choreographed dance number at their weddings?! A thousand Josh Groban songs and slow dances to "God Bless the Broken Road" rise up with me to disagree with THAT idea.

i saw this a few weeks ago and thought it would be funny if you knew the people. otherwise it comes off as unoriginal and pandering for even more attention than they're already getting. but i'm kind of a pessimistic snob anyway...

Tell you what, you need to have a dress like hers if you want to pull that off. The bustle and tight sleeves on my gown would've been prohibitive of a cool number like that. (Note: my reception did have dinner and dancing and was loads of fun -- and I'm LDS and living in Utah. It can be done!)

And if you do include one, you should also spring for an aerial camera sot hat your dance has a cool ending attached to it.

I stumbled on this video last week... thought it was pretty funny. :)

If you don't have stumbleupon for firefox yet, you should check it out! You find all kinds of random videos and stuff.
