My husband says G-D as short hand to avoid saying G-- d--- it, if you know what I mean. So that is what I was filling in the entire time while reading it, making it more offensive rather than less offensive. That is so weird. Some Christians do it, too, but I don't think that's as common. I love the "Just my Luck" comment.
