The only Pauly Shore movie worth seeing is “Encino Man”…….and only on a Saturday afternoon when you have nothing better to do……& if you just concentrate on Brendan Fraser instead of Pauly…..& try to imagine Sean Astin saying lines from “LOTR” instead of the crap they have him saying…………….

Okay, I give up……..there is no Pauly Shore movie worth watching…….

That was one of your funnier angry letters at the end of that Pauly Shore column, too. Or maybe not funny, exactly, but stereotypical.

I don’t know that I’ve ever actually seen a Pauly movie, but I remember a commercial in which he was doing the monkey dance and was just too unappealing to watch. I don’t know exactly what it is about him, but he looks malformed somehow. Which doesn’t necessarily keep him from being funny, but if he’s unfunny in addition to being grotesque, I’m glad he’s in the past.

I guess you’re technically correct, Eric… but I can’t be the only person who, when thinking of 1995, thinks that it’s smack dab in the middle of the ’90s, rather than in the second half. I’m just sayin’.

By that reasoning, are ‘93, ‘94 and ‘95 the mid ’90s?
