@Jet_Set My understanding is that “The Notebook” is “awesome,” according to the current standard definition of that word.
Discussing w/parents: Original ‘Pelham 123′ may have been the first movie I ever saw in a theater, as an infant in late 1974.
@ColeAbaius Yes, my #1 seldom gets any argument from anyone.
@ColeAbaius Sure, if 1) the ratings are consistently applied (which they often aren’t) and 2) people heed them (which they often don’t).
Prude watches R-rated “Stand By Me” with kids; is shocked by content; believes this is movie’s fault and not hers. http://tinyurl.com/m6lakd
By the way, none of this changes the fact that “Pelham 1 2 3″ isn’t very good. I just want to punctuate it properly when I say so. #wayanses
RT @nschager Press kit is with spaces, “1 2 3.” Thank you, Nick! You win the prize of now I’ll follow you! (Sorry, didn’t see you before.)
The onscreen title *looks* like 1 2 3, but they’re sort of half-spaces, not full spaces. THIS IS IMPORTANT BUSINESS!
Does anyone have the press kit? Guesses are fun and all, but not helpful. I want to know how the people who *made* the film are doing it.
