Dougrad,

You don''t find Makaulay Kulkin creepy?

I thought Kulkin's adorable child look worked in his advantage. Who would believe that such a cute little boy could perpetrate such heinous crimes? On the other hand, no one could possibly trust the kid from problem child. (Hello! Red Hair!).

I think I'm the only one who enjoyed this movie, well, in a "so-bad-it's-good" kinda way. But I always thought they should have had a child actor who had an evil-looking face, and who could play creepy really well, get the part. Even with all the bad stuff he did in the movie, Macaulay's look just wasn't right for the part. That redhead kid from the "Problem Child" movies would have been my pick, haha.

Apropos of nothing:

There is a Dish Network ad currently on my screen, which is advising me that LDS Conference will be "availabe on the BYU Television." Is that the official name of the station? Do we watch LOST on "the ABC?"

And apropos of something:

I remember being a young child and my parents returning from their date night, in which they saw (and enjoyed) this movie. Huh. I thought their movie taste was better than that.

That's weird, I distinctly remember thinking this was a good movie. Perhaps I never noticed the plot holes when I saw it the first time.
