What’s with all the Hurt Locker loving this year?

This movie is Stuuuupid.

People like this movie because they:

[SPOILERS AHEAD]

[ALONG WITH CONDESCENDING BITTERNESS TOWARD PEOPLE WHO HAVE A DIFFERENT OPINION OF THIS MOVIE]

1. think it’s cool (wow, what a badass – he’s so courageous! i admire how fearless he is around scary bombs!)

2. people just LOVE seeing middle eastern villains (especially when bombs are involved)

Am i really supposed to believe this is how the military handles bombs? I don’t.

The lead was an idiot. Why would i praise someone for playing russian roulette? especially when playing is unnecessary?

the lead character was an arrogant loser with a defective brain and heart. that’s all. with no redemption.

i know, i know, i’m supposed to like ‘the wrestler’ too. nope. another boring movie with no redemption. dumb. yay, i want to die in the ring.

how can i identify with the lead bomb guy in this movie when he goes home…spends time with his boy…then RETURNS (not enough glory at home? no glory in raising his son? ) to play bomb roulette

people glorify stupid crap

people are stupid.

hurt locker is an empty, embarrassing movie.
