The wide releases of 2013: a handy list

Would you like to take a trip down memory lane but only with regards to movies and only going back as far as January 1? Then here is a handy list! It’s all 144 films that 1) played in wide release (at least 600 screens) and 2) opened in the United States in 2013. Movies that started smaller and eventually expanded to 600 screens are included as long as their initial U.S. release was in 2013.

I saw 107 of the 144. The ones I missed are marked with an asterisk. Links are to my reviews. Sometimes I saw a movie but didn’t review it with my writing, but did review it with my voice on the Movie B.S. with Bayer and Snider podcast. In those cases, links are to the appropriate episode. Sometimes I saw a movie and didn’t do any kind of review, written or spoken, in which case there’s no link. Dates are when the films opened, not necessarily when they went wide.

How many did you see???? Go outside and say the number really loud.
