Katz thinks Ben is watching too much TV, which he is. He says TV influences people; Ben's favorite show as a kid was "I'm a Big Fat Slug." They watch a lot of nature shows ("The only thing a wildebeest has going for it is that it's edible," observes Katz). Ben plays "I'm thinking of an animal" and "I'm thinking of a disease" with Laura. Note: When Caroline Rhea asks Katz if he's ever fallen in love with a friend, he says "maybe" and thinks of Julie....
- Caroline Rhea: Pregnant friend gained 80 pounds; she had her picture taken with her every day; everything she does seems inconsequential compared to having a baby; has Australian managers, so everything sounds good because their voices go up at the end of the sentence; mom is obsessed with playing bridge, even if aliens landed, she wouldn't be phased ("Lemon square?"); men say filthy things to women on the street; wonders about a marriage that started that way: "Your father screamed the most disgusting things at me! Something about wanting to eat his lunch off my a**."
- David Cross: Writes a letter to Laura, then chickens out; thinks the "water to wine" miracle was a waste of effort; guys might have asked Jesus to turn sage into weed; wonders how people talked back then; what if Jesus sounded like an effeminate Southern man ("Luke, does this robe make me look fat? Oh, Lord. Oh, wait, that's me! How many times have I done that today?!"); large-mouth cans only benefit giants; thinks they should legalize marijuana, but not for doctors ("Nurse, bring me one of those... pointy things"); saw "Schindler's List": "Not that funny" (Katz: "Where were you sitting?")
