Family Car
Dr. Katz: Professional Therapist - 106
Episode #6
"Family Car"
Season 1: 7/2/95
Ben borrows the car for the day; Katz calls him on the cell phone; Ben parks in front of the building and narrowly avoids getting towed when Laura -- in a surprisingly nice move -- cries to the tow truck driver to get him to stop. The car has to go into the shop because Ben had the emergency brake on the whole time: "Everyone has their own definition of 'emergency,'" he explains.
- Andy Kindler: Mom is afraid 3-D books are bad for your eyes; guy at the audition said, "Don't be shticky," which he took to mean, "We hate the Jews"; his target audience: "Men, my age, who are me"; women don't like the Three Stooges because they're not funny; asks Laura if he's supposed to tip Dr. Katz.
- Anthony Clark: Grew up in Gladys, Virginia; if you ever have a year left to live, move there, because every day seems like an eternity; concerned about how ugly his family is and wonders why they don't do something about it; mom put a microwave in the bathroom; stewardess woke him up because they were going through turbulence.
