Real Estate

Dr. Katz: Professional Therapist - 202

Episode #8

"Real Estate"

Season 2: 1995

Katz's ex-wife announces she's coming for a visit, and Ben tells her she can stay at their place, which Katz does not like the idea of. Ben then brings up the possibility of getting his own apartment, which of course does not happen. ("The sunken living room -- can that be fixed?" he asks one potential landlord.) Stanley, at the bar, tells Katz he's the one who came up with the slogan "Location, location, location"; it used to be "Location, location, location, location," he says. Katz winds up deciding to let his ex-wife stay at the house, even though Ben has now changed his mind on the whole matter, too.

  • Rita Rudner: Will try water skiing as soon as she can mentally separate it from being dragged by a boat; husband, when looking for food in the fridge, won't move the milk to look for something because if the thing isn't there, somehow the milk has won; will buy anything marked "low-fat," even though it doesn't say lower than what; got a puppy instead of a child.
  • Barry Sobel: "That's how they get you!"; was once a roadie for the Village People; his family acts like a Neil Simon play; "Where are you going this time of night? To a crazy place..."; Katz asks why he wears the clothes of someone half his age; he acts like a big silly-head.
