Snide Remarks Classic: ‘Clothes-Minded’

Remember what the world was like in the year 2000? This week’s “Snide Remarks” Classic column might help you recall, as it makes reference to a couple of cultural items from that era. The column also predates the term “metrosexual,” which is too bad, because there’s a place where it would have gone nicely.

The column is called “Clothes-Minded,” and it is #124, published Sept. 8, 2000, in the Daily Herald. Do enjoy, won’t you?

Also: It occurred to me that you might want to see George W. Bush’s right-hand man Karl Rove rapping and dancing at the Radio-Television Correspondents’ Association Dinner. You can do that over here on the YouTubes.

    I do have to take issue with calling that rapping. All he says is his name a few times. I think it pretty lame.
