‘Spider-Man 3′ review; Kentucky Fried Dancing

For you Eager Eddies and Impatient Imogenes out there, here is my review of “Spider-Man 3,” which officially opens tomorrow but which has 10 p.m. and/or midnight screenings tonight in lots of places. With the previous two films in this series, I liked them more the more I thought about them. This installment produces the opposite reaction: The more I ponder it, the more disappointed I am.

To brighten your spirits, though, here is footage of Miss Kentucky displaying her awesome dance/seizure talents at the 1993 Miss America Pageant.

    Bet Raven-Symoné can’t do that.

  2. LittleWoodenBoy Says:

It’s even funnier muted. I hope she won.

  3. Holly Says:

    That was fringe-tastic!

  4. Andrew D Says:

That music made me want to go into seizures…

  5. D-Rickulus Says:

That is the best example of hip-hop clogging I have ever seen.

  6. The Don Says:

    Holy…crap…

  7. treen Says:

Ditto to The Don. I think that was one step of this style of dance, then one step of that style, and on and on and on. I had to watch with my eyes half closed so I didn’t get dizzy.

  8. David Manning Says:

    Wow… Just…wow.

  9. Phil Cardenas Says:

I thought I’d seen it all…and then this. Is this Mississippi Riverdance? I’m confused. I gotta give her this–she did appear dangerous with those Jergen’s soft guns she toting. Just hilarious. I now have to go listen to some Rush to cleanse myself…

  10. Eric B Says:

    Reminded me of Napoleon Dynamite.

  11. Ian Says:

I only got through about half a minute of that before I had to shut it off. I work in a pretty quiet office, and I just couldn’t stifle my laughter. I’ll have to watch the whole thing at home tonight & succumb to hysterics…

I think I was hearing that song from Tetris only played on the banjo and looped with a pre-recorded drum track from a synthesizer that someone put together in their basement, circa 1992.
