‘Snide Remarks’ Classic: ‘Comfy KOSY Are We’
Our celebration of the 10th anniversary of “Snide Remarks” continues with “Comfy KOSY Are We,” which is this week’s designated “Snide Remarks” Classic. It was column #232, published Dec. 12, 2001. It pertains to the Christmas season, and to a Utah radio station’s practice of playing nothing but Christmas music from Thanksgiving through Dec. 26. (I believe now they now they start even earlier, on Nov. 1, which is appalling.) Read and enjoy! I command you!

That 1997 picture of Eric from the Daily Universe always reminds me of Harold Lloyd (http://www.mindjack.com/film/uploaded_images/haroldlloyd-721619.gif). Wonder if he was going for that.

Not only apalling, but shocking, too!

It’s bad enough that they start on Nov 1, but that they switch to exclusively Christmas music that early is insane! What about all the good Veteran’s Day songs!?
