I don’t know how many others have tried this — it seems like a pretty simple idea — but this video of a little girl giggling has been dramatically slowed down, thus turning the merry sounds of a child’s laughter into something evil and hilarious.

I assume you’ve heard this, then?

I don’t know about evil…It sounded to me like a man sobbing so hard he started coughing and burping. Evil is the fact that it still made me laugh really hard. (Ok, so watching the baby along with the sound made it funnier.)
I don’t know…that sound makes me feel really depressed.
I don’t personally find this funny or amusing, but I can see how it would be funny to others.
I’m wiping my eyes and struggling from the pain of holding back my laughter while sitting in my work cubicle. Great find!
This clip is like a family reunion for me! The beginning sounds just like the way my little niece laughs in real time (she’s spooky), and the end sounds like my 80 year old father when his meds are off. Glad I listened to this at home, I couldn’t stop laughing!
It was slightly disturbing to watch it and listen to it….so I fixed that by playing Mahjong Titans and listening to it. Ten times funnier!
It’s okay, but… nearly three minutes long?
I’m with Andrew D on this one. I thought it was funny and laughed at it, but it got old fairly quickly. It didn’t need to be three minutes long.
It sounds like the Cowardly Lion.
Reminds me of the scene from Strange Wilderness where they voiceover the goofy shark face. You know what I’m talking about. Yes I watched Strange Wilderness. Yes I remembered a scene from it. Yes I’m a glutton for punishment.
that is the funniest thing i”ve ever heard – i don’t know why some didn’t find it funny
@David Cornelius,
That’s from Patton’s “222”, right? (The complete audio rip of the show from “Feeling Kinda Patton”.) Patton Oswalt is probably the greatest comedian on Earth right now. He’s the indie (read: good) alternative to unfunny, rock star wannabees like Dane Cook (and his clones).
I laughed until I cried. And then about halfway through I was laughing so hard I almost threw up. So I stopped watching. I’m assuming that the second half is as magical as the first half.
