When Eric’s Bad Movies at Film.com debuted just over a year ago, I asked readers for suggestions. By far the most frequently mentioned title was “Howard the Duck.” Unfortunately, it wasn’t available on DVD at the time — probably because the studio knew I was gunning for it!!! — but now, at last, our prayers have been answered, “Howard the Duck” has been digitally remastered, and it is finally the subject of Eric’s Bad Movies at Film.com. Do enjoy.
Great article, here’s hoping that Star Trek V will be the subject of next weeks EBM, what with the new movie coming out and everything.
I second Marc’s suggestion. I love Star Trek in general, but Star Trek V deserves to be roasted on a spit. It’s a hilariously stupid movie with plenty of scenes just begging to be mocked.
What exactly does it mean when they say “a world he never made”? Is it some kind of eighties slang or are they implying that Howard was somehow the progenitor of his own world? Because if it’s the latter welll then… well i’m not sure but it would be kind of odd to say the least.
I say that rather than Star Trek V, it be a I/III/V/Generations/Insurrection marathon.
Which lead to the question – is this new movie considered a “prequel” counting as installment 0 and thus even numbered or “sequel” (XI) or “reboot” (I) and thus odd numbered?
