Up until now, I’ve been avoiding “Showgirls” as a subject for Eric’s Bad Movies at Film.com simply because it’s too legendary — so many people have already written about it that I didn’t know if I’d have anything new to say. (I’m pretty sure I’ll never do “Plan 9 from Outer Space,” either, for the same reason.) But there have been a lot of requests for it, and curiosity finally got the better of me, so here it is. It might as well be National Geographic for as much toplessness as it has, and it might as well be “The Sound of Music” for as erotic as it is.
