Media Inventory: What I Watched and Read in 2015

This is for my own records. Nobody else read it!

I watched 349 movies in 2015. That’s less than one a day, which is low for me. On the other hand, it’s still 349 movies, which is a lot. It’s almost 350. Here’s how they broke down:

– 173 theatrical releases (including 10 re-watches)

– 45 festival entries that will open in 2016 (or possibly never).

– 66 movies from previous years that I re-watched.

– 65 movies from previous years that were brand spankin’ new to me.

My goal in 2016 is to watch more movies, and to continue in this fashion until I have seen all the movies.

2015 theatrical releases that I saw:

(Links are to my reviews. If I didn’t write a review but did talk about it on Movie B.S. with Bayer and Snider, there’s a link to the episode.)

**Let Me Off at the Top! – Ron Burgundy (Will Ferrell & Adam McKay)
The Martian – Andy Weir
**Mermaids in Paradise – Lydia Millet
**A Practical Guide to Racism – C.H. Dalton (Sam Means)

The Scarlet Letter – Nathaniel Hawthorne
The Woman Upstairs – Claire Messud
**Yes Please – Amy Poehler
Zone of Interest – Martin Amis
